Mechanical Technician

Work on an industrial project, performing work on preparing rotating equipment for start-up;

Preparation of pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, mixers, reducers and assembled equipment for start-up;

Checking mechanical completeness and identifying outstanding work and defects;

Checking the installation of equipment according to approved drawings, P&ID diagrams, manufacturer's documentation and technical data sheets;

Installation and dismantling of couplings;

"Soft foot" checks, cold centering, shaft centering with laser equipment and measurements with indicators;

Preparing equipment for test start-up of electric motors without load ("Motor Solo Run"), including connecting and disconnecting couplings;

Monitoring vibration, bearing temperature and lubrication parameters during tests;

Carrying out and maintaining washing and cleaning works of lubrication, cooling, sealing and "API Seal Plan" systems;

Diagnostics and elimination of mechanical faults identified during preparation for launch;

Completing inspection sheets, test reports, lists of deficiencies and daily work reports;

Work in compliance with HSE, LOTO, PTW and other facility safety procedures.

Work on a industrial project with pre-launch preparation of rotating equipment;

Conducting preliminary work with pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, mixers, reducers and complete equipment;

Checking the mechanical readiness of the equipment and identifying unfinished works and remarks;

Checking the installation of the equipment in accordance with approved drawings, P&ID schemes, manufacturer's documentation and technical passports;

Soft foot check, cold centering, laser centering of shafts and checking with clock-type indicators;

Preparation of equipment for trial runs of electric motors without loading (Motor Solo Run), including connection and disconnection of couplings;

Control of vibration, temperature of bearings and parameters of lubrication system during testing;

Participation in washing and cleaning of lubrication, cooling, sealing and API Seal Plan systems;

Diagnostics and elimination of mechanical defects identified during pre-launch work;

Completion of pre-launch checklists, test protocols, checklists and daily progress reports;

Strict compliance with the requirements of HSE, LOTO, PTW and safety regulations of the object.

Work on an industrial project supporting rotating equipment pre-commissioning activities;

Perform pre-commissioning activities on pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, agitators, gearboxes, and packaged equipment;

Verify mechanical completion and identify outstanding works and punch items;

Inspect equipment installation against approved drawings, P&IDs, vendor documentation, and equipment datasheets;

Perform coupling installation and removal;

Carry out soft foot checks, cold alignment, laser shaft alignment, and dial indicator checks;

Prepare equipment for Motor Solo Runs, including coupling and uncoupling activities;

Monitor vibration, bearing temperatures, and lubrication parameters during testing;

Support flushing and cleaning of lubrication, cooling, seal support, and API Seal Plan systems;

Troubleshoot mechanical issues identified during pre-commissioning;

Complete pre-commissioning check sheets, test records, punch lists, and daily progress reports;

Ensure full compliance with HSE, LOTO, PTW, and site safety procedures.

Technical education or professional qualification in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, rotating equipment maintenance or related field;

At least 5 years of work experience in rotating equipment maintenance, installation, commissioning, start-up-adjustment or plant commissioning;

Experience in EPC projects is a great advantage;

Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG, oil refining, chemical, energy or other industrial projects is a great advantage;

Practical experience working with laser alignment systems “Easy-Laser”, “Fixturlaser”, “SKF TKSA” or equivalent;

Good knowledge of indicator gauges, coupling alignment, vibration monitoring, lubrication systems, oil flushing and mechanical fault diagnosis;

Ability to read and understand P&ID diagrams, isometric and GA drawings, manufacturers’ drawings, equipment data sheets and commissioning procedures;

Ability to independently perform equipment inspection, preparation, centering, testing and troubleshooting;

Knowledge of the English language, necessary for understanding technical documentation and communication in the facility;

Responsibility, independence, diligence and orientation towards a safe and high-quality result.

Technical education or professional qualification in the field of mechanics, industrial service, repair of rotating equipment or in a similar field;

Not less than 5 years of relevant experience working with rotating equipment in the field of maintenance, construction, pre-launch preparation, commissioning or commissioning of the equipment;

Ability to read and understand P&ID schemes, isometric and layout drawings of GA, manufacturer's drawings, technical passports of equipment and procedures for pre-launch preparation;

Ability to independently perform preparation, verification, centering, testing and diagnostics of equipment;

Knowledge of English language sufficient for understanding the technical documentation and communicating with the object;

Technical Diploma or Trade Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Rotating Equipment Maintenance, or an equivalent discipline;

Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience in rotating equipment maintenance, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, or start-up;

Previous experience on EPC projects is highly preferred;

Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, Chemical, Power, or similar industrial projects is highly desirable;

Hands-on experience with laser alignment systems such as Easy-Laser, Fixturlaser, SKF TKSA, or equivalent;

Good knowledge of dial indicators, coupling alignment, vibration monitoring, lubrication systems, oil flushing, and mechanical troubleshooting;

Ability to read and understand P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA drawings, vendor drawings, equipment datasheets, and pre-commissioning procedures;

Ability to independently perform equipment preparation, inspection, alignment, testing, and troubleshooting;

English language skills sufficient to understand technical documentation and communicate on site;
