Mechanizer

The mechanizer works on an agricultural farm, operates and maintains tractors, agricultural machinery and other mechanisms. Performs agricultural work according to the needs of the farm: soil preparation, plowing, cultivation, sowing, fertilization, plant care, harvesting, production transportation and other work related to agricultural activities.

Also performs daily inspection of equipment, maintains and cleans the mechanisms used, checks their technical condition, and performs simple repair and maintenance work if necessary. Ensures safe and proper use of equipment, complies with employee safety and health and other established requirements.

If necessary, the mechanizer may perform other agricultural work assigned by the farm manager.

• have the right to drive and operate the relevant agricultural machinery;
• know the principles of operation and operation of tractors and other agricultural machinery;
• be able to perform basic maintenance of machinery and simple repairs;
• comply with occupational health and safety, fire safety and other established requirements;
• responsibly and properly use entrusted agricultural machinery and tools;
• be able to independently perform assigned work;
• be responsible, attentive, tidy and honest;
• have the opportunity to work in various weather conditions and according to the needs of seasonal agricultural work;
• work experience in agriculture or with agricultural machinery would be an advantage.
