Medical psychologist - an important position in a team led by a physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor, ensuring safe, smooth and high-quality provision of outpatient medical rehabilitation services of various profiles to patients.
🌲What will you do in the team?
- Provide psychological services to medical rehabilitation patients (funded by the ICD/PSDF);
- Perform a psychological assessment of the patient's condition (emotional state, adaptation, motivation, cognitive functions - according to indications);
- Participate in the development and adjustment of an individual rehabilitation plan;
- Provide individual psychological consultations to inpatient and outpatient patients;
- Work in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team (FMR doctor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, nurse, social worker, etc.);
- Contribute to the patient's psychological adaptation to a chronic illness, functional disorder or disability.
🌲What do we expect from you?
- Higher university education in the field of psychology (master's degree);
- Qualifications of a medical psychologist that meet the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania;
- Valid license to practice as a medical psychologist;
- Work experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation institution is desirable;
- Ability to work in a team and independently;
- Good communication and psychological counseling skills;
- Empathy, responsibility, confidentiality;
- Ability to work with medical documentation and information systems.
