Nature of work

The Lithuanian Association of Independent Timber Measurers is looking for colleagues to join the
team of independent timber measurers and perform roundwood volume and quality
assessment and accounting in the Marijampolė region (Nendrininškės k. and Jūrės mst.).
Your main tasks will be:
  • Roundwood measurement, quality assessment.
  • Entering measurement results into a computer program, submitting acts to recipients.
  • Accounting for timber warehouses, inventory.
  • Performing other tasks related to roundwood measurement.

Employee requirements

We hope that you:
  • Have a university or college degree in forestry.
  • Have similar work experience (preferred in the selection process).
  • Have good computer skills.
  • Know the legal acts and standards governing the determination of the quantity and quality of wood.
  • Are sociable, perceptive, receptive and quick to learn new things.
