Work style
- Purchase of roundwood (logs) from the State Enterprise State Forest Enterprise: participation in electronic auctions and administration of long-term contracts;
- Search for private forest owners, loggers and other suppliers, negotiations and purchase of logs;
- Purchase of sawnwood from Lithuanian suppliers;
- Search for new sawnwood suppliers in Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway), negotiations and organization of purchases;
- Preparation and coordination of wood supply schedules with the transport department;
- Verification and administration of supplier invoices, processing of purchase contracts and documents;
- Ensuring compliance with the requirements of wood origin documents and EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation);
- Monitoring the wood market and prices, proposals for improving purchases.
Employee requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in the procurement, supply or timber sector;
- Good negotiation and communication skills;
- English language skills sufficient to correspond and negotiate with foreign suppliers;
- Good computer skills (MS Excel / Google Sheets);
- Category B driver's license;
- Independence, diligence in working with documents, responsibility.
