Your main responsibilities will be:
We are looking for a proactive and strong in negotiations Wood Supply Manager to join the team and be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted roundwood supply. In this position, you will work with suppliers in Lithuania and abroad, participate in negotiations, monitor market trends and contribute to the organization of efficient raw material supply.
- Organize and ensure continuous roundwood supply;
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new suppliers in Lithuania and abroad;
- Search for new suppliers, evaluate their offers and negotiate prices, quantities and supply conditions;
- Analyze the wood market, price changes and supply trends;
- Prepare, coordinate and administer wood purchase contracts and additional agreements;
- Participate in state and other wood purchase auctions;
- Plan raw material supply, coordinate quantity distribution and control supply schedules in cooperation with factories;
- Ensure compliance with wood quality, specifications and agreed delivery terms;
- Analyze procurement results, prices and delivery volumes and prepare reports.
To succeed in this position you will need:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of purchasing wood, raw materials or similar products;
- Good negotiation, communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to plan, coordinate and manage supply processes;
- Good written and oral English skills;
- Good computer skills;
- Analytical thinking, initiative and result orientation.
We would consider the following as an advantage:
- Knowledge of the wood market;
- Experience working with international suppliers;
- Experience in participating in auctions or managing raw material supply processes.
