JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Operate forestry machinery - a logging truck, perform logging operations, including hauling of felled forest;
  • Perform daily inspection and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal operation and safety of the machinery;
  • Comply with safety regulations and ensure that work is carried out in accordance with forestry regulations and environmental standards;
  • Plan and execute work effectively to achieve production goals and deadlines;
  • Assess forest and site conditions to determine safe and effective work methods;
  • Complete various reports related to the work;
  • Cooperate with the team, ensuring that work in the field runs smoothly and inform managers and colleagues in a timely manner about the progress of work, problems or equipment needs.

WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • Experience operating heavy forestry machinery - a logging truck / logging truck;
  • Category B driver's license (C, E categories would be an advantage);
  • Elementary mechanical skills and ability to perform equipment maintenance;
  • Knowledge of forestry work, including felling, hauling processes and forest area assessment;
  • Ability to work in difficult field conditions;
  • Compliance with safety standards and a safe working environment;
  • Ability to work in a team and independently;
  • Ability to communicate in Lithuanian / English / Russian;
  • Knowledge of modern forest equipment and technologies (advantage).
