Is the design of a book - cover, layout, illustrations - as important to you as the content itself? We are looking for an art editor who will ensure high quality design from the moment the manuscript is received to the moment the book is sent to the press, coordinate the work of creative partners, and take on design and layout tasks themselves.
What will you do?
- You will form the creative concept of publications, organize their design and, if necessary, create basic layouts yourself.
- You will coordinate the design process of publications, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
- You will collaborate with designers, illustrators, layout designers and other creative partners.
- You will be involved in the creation, development and adaptation of book covers and other visual material for publications according to the needs of the project.
- You will assess the design and technical quality of publications, adjust layouts and prepare files for printing.
- You will take care of the search and selection of visual material required for publications.
We hope you:
- You have experience in publishing and design.
- You have a good sense of aesthetics, typography and visual communication principles.
- You are able to manage several projects at the same time and meet deadlines.
- You are meticulous, organized and attentive to details.
- You are able to communicate constructively with authors, designers, illustrators and other colleagues.
- You are well-versed in layout and graphic editing programs "Adobe CS", you are able to independently perform design work and prepare files for publication.
- You are diplomatic and communicative, you communicate excellently both verbally and in writing (knowledge of English is an advantage).
