WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As a Metalworking Department Manager at UAB Rheinmetall Defence Lietuva, your daily tasks will include:

  • Ensuring the production activities of the Metalworking Department, taking into account quality, quantity, deadlines and costs
  • Planning of parts orders, taking into account personnel capacities, equipment load and deadlines
  • Control of production processes
  • Continuous optimization of production processes
  • Identification of production problems and their resolution
  • Ensuring and improving compliance with employee safety and health requirements and participating in risk analysis
  • Organizing and ensuring smooth serial production processes

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Higher or equivalent technical or engineering education
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in metalworking or manufacturing
  • Supervised work experience
  • Experience in applying LEAN principles and tools
  • Skills in working with SAP and MS Office programs
  • Ability to promptly solve problems, conflict situations and excellent communication
  • Excellent knowledge of the Lithuanian language. Good knowledge of the English language.
