Mid-level WordPress Developer (-ė)

Our team is expanding! We are looking for an independent and detail-oriented WordPress developer who would contribute to the development, maintenance and optimization of various client projects, as well as to customer service (support) work.

UAB "Creative Partner" is an IT company based in Klaipėda, which has been creating individual technological solutions for businesses in Lithuania and abroad for more than a decade. We create websites, e-shops, mobile apps, platforms and systems, and also provide UI/UX design and system integration services. Our solutions are used by companies from financial technologies, retail, banking, sports, media, construction, logistics and other fields.

Your responsibilities

• Custom theme and plugin development. You will create clean, fast and secure WordPress solutions from scratch or based on a given design (Figma / Adobe XD → WordPress).
• Front-end and back-end programming. You will write and maintain HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (Vanilla / React / Vue) and PHP code.
• Working with Gutenberg / Elementor. You will create templates and custom blocks (ACF / Gutenberg).
• E-commerce solutions. You will adapt the WooCommerce platform and implement integrations with payment and delivery systems.
• Website optimization. You will ensure website speed (Core Web Vitals), security and compliance with SEO standards.
• Code maintenance and testing. You will fix errors (debugging), update existing websites and improve their code (refactoring).
• Customer service (support). You will handle customer inquiries and technical issues, make minor changes, and maintain live websites.

What we expect from you

• 2+ years of experience working with WordPress.
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/SCSS), and JavaScript.
• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins. Working with page builders alone is not enough.
• Experience creating blocks with ACF or Gutenberg.
• Experience working with the version control system Git.
• Knowledge of website security, speed optimization, and REST API integrations.
• Ability to work independently, plan your time, and collaborate with a team.

Would be an advantage

• Experience with WooCommerce and custom module development.
• Headless WordPress experience (REST API / GraphQL + Next.js / React).
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
