They’re looking for Mid/Senior Backend Engineers to join their teams in Vilnius. You’ll work on money-movement and balance/ledger systems used by millions of merchants – owning services end-to-end, from design through production, and helping modernize and scale them across multiple markets and regulations.

They’re looking for Mid/Senior Backend Engineers to join their teams in Vilnius. You’ll work on money-movement and balance/ledger systems used by millions of merchants – owning services end-to-end, from design through production, and helping modernize and scale them across multiple markets and regulations.
Tech & tools you’ll work with:
Go (Golang) / Kotlin, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Honeycomb, AI-assisted dev tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
What you’ll do:
● End‑to‑end ownership: design, deliver, deploy and run high‑availability money‑movement and ledger services; accountable for uptime, correctness and operational cost.
● Lead delivery: drive initiatives and own major slices of larger programs from scoping to rollout and validation.
● Architectural decisions: define and document system design, API boundaries and data models; make pragmatic trade‑offs (consistency, availability, latency) that align with business and regulatory needs.
● Reliability & performance: set SLOs/SLIs, run capacity/load tests, and tune systems (DBs, streams, services) to meet throughput and latency targets.
● Observability & alerting: implement metrics, tracing, structured logging, dashboards and actionable alerts; maintain runbooks and escalation paths.
● Testing & CI/CD: own automated test strategy and delivery pipelines; use safe rollout patterns to minimize live risk.
● Modernization & maintainability: incrementally refactor, migrate or decommission legacy components while preserving service continuity.
● Operate & improve: participate in on‑call, lead incident response and post‑incident reviews, and drive corrective automation and preventive measures.
● Systems thinking in planning: identify risks, dependencies and edge cases early; quantify operational and regulatory impacts to inform prioritization.
● Cross‑functional collaboration: work closely with Product, QA, Risk and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are compliant, operable and deliver business value.
● Team enablement: review designs, share best practices and mentor peers to raise standards for reliability, observability and delivery.
