YOUR NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a responsible and meticulous microbiologist to join our team in Varėna and contribute to ensuring quality and safety requirements in the production process of Neptūnos mineral water.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sampling and microbiological tests according to the established program.
- Water (city, well) raw materials, final products and packaging tests according to the quality control manual.
- Testing of production equipment, surfaces and air samples, assessment of washing and disinfection efficiency.
- Sterilization of the working environment and equipment, daily control, maintenance of laboratory cleanliness and equipment.
- Monitoring and recording of microorganism colonies according to incubation conditions.
- Filling and updating documentation, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Preparation of media, monitoring and maintenance of equipment (incubators, refrigerators, autoclaves).
- Practical training for laboratory technicians.
- General hygiene and microbiology training for factory employees.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Higher or higher education in the field of microbiology, biology, bioengineering or food industry.
- Experience in a laboratory is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
