Microbiologist Assistant - Laboratory Assistant

🔬 Are you interested in microbiology and want to put your knowledge into practice?

An independent laboratory, accredited according to the international LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard, is looking for a new team member in the microbiology department.

We are looking for a diligent, responsible and curious microbiologist assistant to join our laboratory team.

Your day in the laboratory:

🧫 Preparation of samples and microbiological media;
🔬 Assistance in microbiological tests;
🧪 Working with laboratory tools and equipment;
📋 Recording results and completing documentation;
🧼 Ensuring order and laboratory standards;
🤝 Working together with microbiologists and other team members.

• Education in microbiology, biology, biotechnology, biomedicine or another related field;
• Similar work experience - an advantage;
• Diligence, responsibility and attention to detail;
• Ability to accurately follow established work procedures;
• Ability to independently organize one's work and cooperate in a team;
• Willingness to learn, improve and deepen professional competencies;
• Ability to work full-time;
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule;
• Lithuanian language is mandatory.

🧪 We will consider similar work experience as an advantage, but we are ready to provide the necessary knowledge and practical skills to a motivated candidate.
