JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensure smooth operation of the tax and accounting department and clear division of responsibilities within the team.
  • Lead the team, develop people, strengthen competencies and form an effective work model.
  • Ensure correct implementation of financial accounting, tax and other processes.
  • Formulate and monitor accounting policy in accordance with the structure of the production company's activities.
  • Coordinate the preparation of reports and participate in the audit process.
  • Improve accounting processes, control mechanisms and organization of daily work.
  • Participate in the implementation of a new accounting ERP system, contributing to the formation of accounting processes in the new system.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL (-A)

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, tax or finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting and Lithuanian accounting standards.
  • Experience in managing key accounting, tax, payroll and reporting processes.
  • Experience in leading an accounting team and ensuring the smooth daily work of the department.
  • Responsibility, flexibility and solution orientation in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with different company functions – finance, production, logistics, analytics and management

YOU WILL STAND OUT IF YOU HAVE THESE COMPETENCES

  • Understanding of accounting in a manufacturing or industrial company, especially production accounting processes.
  • Understanding of in-house accounting/finance function management, including working within a group of companies.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics or other accounting/business management systems.
  • Competence in process improvement and automation, including participation in ERP implementation or accounting process change projects.
