JOB CHARACTER

  • Organize the activities of the accounting and tax department, form team goals and ensure their implementation.
  • Assemble a team and effectively lead it, involving employees and developing the potential and contribution of each team member to the overall result.
  • Develop and improve accounting and tax processes and internal controls, determine and monitor performance indicators, make proposals for process optimization.
  • Ensure proper organization and control of financial and tax accounting.
  • Be responsible for the formation and management of the company's budget, payroll accounting, control of debt and settlement accounting.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of tax obligations and correct tax accounting.
  • Participate in the implementation of the new business management system "Microsoft Dynamics 365", ensuring the implementation of optimal accounting processes and systems.
  • Cooperate with employees of other departments to ensure the smooth operation of financial and accounting processes throughout the organization.

WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL (-A)

  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in a large manufacturing company or group of companies.
  • Higher education in the field of accounting, auditing, finance or economics.
  • Good knowledge of the tax and accounting legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • Experience in the implementation of business management systems.
  • Experience in working with the "Microsoft Dynamics 365" accounting module.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing accounting processes and internal control systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, diligence and responsibility.
  • Ability to effectively organize work and work both in a team and independently.
  • Ability to create processes from the ground up and implement them in practice in a growing organization.
