Nature of work

What will you do?

  • You will manage the maintenance and operation of the museum building, engineering systems and territory;
  • You will ensure uninterrupted museum operations, coordinate troubleshooting and emergency management;
  • You will organize repair, warranty service, modernization and reconstruction works;
  • You will manage contractors, maintenance services and supply contracts, organize purchases, monitor the budget and quality of work;
  • You will coordinate the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sewage, security and other engineering systems;
  • You will prepare preventive maintenance plans, ensure technical inspections, fire safety and compliance with legal acts;
  • You will lead the technical maintenance team and cooperate with the museum management, partners and contractors;
  • You will contribute to initiatives to improve infrastructure, processes and energy efficiency.

We expect that you:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in building maintenance, engineering systems administration, construction project management or similar field;
  • You have obtained a higher university or non-university engineering education (in construction, mechanical, energy, civil engineering or similar field);
  • You speak English at least at level B2;
  • You have a driver's license;
  • You are able to plan work, make decisions and effectively coordinate a team and external partners.

We would consider the following as a significant advantage:

  • Experience working with cultural heritage sites, museums, public institutions, HVAC or outdoor engineering systems maintenance;
  • Experience in leading a technical, building maintenance team;
  • Experience in implementing energy efficiency or sustainability projects.
