Tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for the operation of two bars (sports bar and adjacent casino), the best guest experience and financial results.
- Building the kitchen and service staff team, developing the necessary skills and ensuring smooth and efficient work. The Bar Manager participates in employee selection, creates an introductory training plan and controls its implementation, provides feedback to employees, organizes team meetings and ensures effective communication through other channels.
- Ensuring the necessary internal processes to achieve the best quality, excellent guest experience, operational efficiency and results.
- Preparing periodic performance reports and analyzing indicators, initiating the necessary actions to achieve the set goals.
- Initiating and/or implementing changes according to the provided guidelines.
- Creating work schedules, administering changes, filling out timesheets, planning and analyzing working hours to increase operational efficiency.
- Ensuring orderly cash register documentation, maintaining primary accounting.
- Management of bar merchandise orders, control of balances and write-offs, inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with requirements (from food safety and hygiene requirements to trade permits).
We expect from you:
- At least 2 years of work experience in the catering business with responsibility for both kitchen and service teams, revenue planning and cost control, product order and inventory management, implementation and improvement of internal procedures.
- Professional level knowledge of food and beverages.
- Excellent communication skills with guests.
- Leadership qualities, ability to build and maintain a team of engaged employees.
- Fluent Lithuanian and English (advantage).
- Practical skills in administering bar/restaurant documentation.
- Interest in sports and understanding the needs of the sports fan community is a great advantage.
- According to the Law on Gambling of the Republic of Lithuania, candidates must be at least 21 years of age and of impeccable reputation.
