- GG Group Media, UAB
About the position
GG Group Media is looking for an internal SEO and Content Team Leader to take responsibility for on-page SEO and content processes across our iGaming group of sites across different markets. This is a player-coach type position: you will lead an existing team of 4 writers and SEO specialists while actively working on key tasks yourself.
Your work will not be limited to maintaining the content calendar. You will contribute to decisions on what content is created and how to optimize it according to the guidelines set by the SEO Manager: from the heading system to the internal link logic. You will be responsible for the quality of internal SEO execution across the entire group of sites and will work directly with the SEO Manager to achieve measurable organic growth.

Responsibilities
On-Page SEO Optimization
Perform and maintain internal SEO optimization across the entire group of sites.
Develop and maintain standards for adaptive titles, meta descriptions, content structure, and internal linking systems.
Audit pages for keyword cannibalization, search intent mismatches, and structural issues, taking responsibility for correcting them and ensuring they are resolved.
Work with the technical SEO team to ensure that structured data (schema) is implemented correctly.
Maintain internal SEO quality standards that the team can apply on a daily basis.
Monitor website visibility in AI Overview results: identify where the site is cited and where it is not, and report to the SEO Manager.
Content Strategy and Creation
Perform keyword research according to the SEO Manager’s approved topic authority plan across all markets and content categories.
Manage content calendar and content creation from assignment to publication.
Writing detailed content assignments and quality control of writers’ work: accuracy, search intent, on-page SEO quality.
Prioritizing content based on search capabilities and business context, not just search volume.
Finding content gaps by analyzing competitors and SERPs, presenting findings to SEO Manager for prioritization.
Team Leadership
Managing and developing an existing team of 4 writers and SEO specialists.
Setting clear quality standards and holding them accountable from day one.
Implementing existing processes and SOPs within the team, providing feedback to SEO Manager for improvement.
Regular feedback, identifying skill gaps and encouraging professional development.
Allocating workload across multiple markets and domains to ensure team is working on time.
Reporting and Communication
Presenting content and on-page SEO results to SEO Manager with clear metrics and business context.
Signaling risks, opportunities and obstacles in advance, not after the fact.
Translating On-Page SEO and content data into solutions, not just status reports.
Coordination of execution with technical SEO, EEAT, social media and other teams.

Expectations for the candidate
At least 2 years of SEO experience with real responsibility for internal SEO execution and content processes.
Proven experience in leading and developing a content or SEO team, not just coordinating freelancers.
Good knowledge of search intent, topic authority and content architecture.
Practical experience in keyword research, content assignment writing and editorial quality control on a large scale.
Ability to work simultaneously with multiple domains and markets without compromising quality.
Ability to create and document processes that can be replicated by others.
Excellent English and Lithuanian (written and spoken), essential for internal communication and content quality control in all markets.
Analytical thinking: you read data, notice patterns and understand what is most important.
Attention to detail: you notice search intent discrepancies, broken internal links, cannibalization and inconsistent on-page SEO elements that others do not notice.
Flexibility in changing conditions: algorithm updates, new SERP features, changing priorities and new markets do not scare you, you adapt and lead the team forward.
Good communication and delegation skills: you clearly allocate tasks, provide useful feedback, motivate the team and keep it aligned without constant supervision.
You are already using AI tools to create real processes (content tasks, quality control, content evaluation), not just for faster writing, and are actively looking for ways to automate repetitive SEO tasks.
Tool knowledge
You should be fluent in the following tools or quickly learn them on your own:
Ahrefs / KWFinder (or alternatives): keyword research, competitor analysis, content gap search.
Google Search Console and GA4: results analysis, indexing monitoring, traffic attribution.
Screaming Frog: Site crawling, on-page SEO audit, redirect maps.
NeuronWriter or SurferSEO: Content optimization and evaluation.
Claude AI, ChatGPT.
Advantages (optional)
Experience in iGaming, sports betting or other regulated affiliate marketing.
Multilingual or multi-market SEO experience, especially in European markets.
Experience in developing content performance measurement systems that cover more than just organic traffic (engagement, contribution to conversions, quality of indexed pages).
Additional advantage if you know other languages (for content review).
