Responsibilities
- Lead the Optics team, set operational priorities and ensure stable daily operations of the unit.
- Plan the team's workload, coordinate resources and promptly resolve production and operational issues.
- Achieve key production and quality KPIs, analyze results and initiate necessary corrective actions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify risks, remove process bottlenecks and ensure implementation of agreements.
- Ensure compliance with product quality, cleanroom control, documentation and traceability requirements.
- Develop team competencies through employee induction, training, mentoring, feedback and performance evaluation.
- Lead the analysis of quality issues and non-conformities in the unit, ensuring root cause identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Initiate projects to improve processes, productivity and production capacity, applying Lean and continuous improvement principles.
- Coordinate collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and other related teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new products, materials, equipment and manufacturing processes from an optical quality perspective.
- Manage the department's budget, identify investment needs and shape the department's technological and organizational development directions.
Main mission
To form and lead a high-performance optics team that consistently ensures high optical quality, develops internal competencies and continuously improves processes, thus contributing to stable production operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Higher university degree in physics, optics, photonics, chemistry, materials science, engineering or other related technical field.
- At least 5 years of work experience in manufacturing, laboratory, optics, coating technology or quality assurance.
- Experience in team coordination, specialist training or leadership.
- Knowledge of quality control, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with technical measurements, data analysis and process performance indicators.
- Ability to make decisions, manage priorities and solve problems in a dynamic production environment.
- Strong organizational, planning and delegation skills.
- Lithuanian language skills at level C1–C2 and English language skills at level B2–C1.

Salary: €3,200–€4,800 gross (final offer will depend on experience and scope of responsibilities).
