JOB CHARACTER

Ensure compliance with the production plan and established deadlines during the shift;
Organize, distribute and control work for shift employees;
Monitor the operation of equipment, promptly resolve technical malfunctions;
Ensure that the production process is carried out in accordance with the established quality, technological and safety requirements;
Record the results of the shift, fill in the necessary documentation and summaries;
Ensure labor discipline, maintain order and motivate employees;
Participate in production meetings, submit proposals for improving the work process;
Ensure the uninterrupted flow of the production process, analyze incidents that occurred during the shift and initiate solutions;
Ensure that the shift produces products according to the established assortment, technical and quality requirements and production deadlines;
Taking into account production plans, plan and provide information on the need for employees;
Directly participate in the training of new employees and in the processes of improving qualifications;
Organize the work of shift workers and on-duty personnel;
Ensure compliance with equipment, forklift operation and technological instructions at all stages of the production process;
Prepare primary accounting data on the organization of production, use of assets and other operational processes in accordance with the procedure established by the company;
Ensure the cleanliness and order of the territories, workplaces, recreation and household premises assigned to the shift;
Ensure compliance with employee safety, fire safety and environmental protection requirements;
Actively participate in the implementation and improvement of the LEAN system;
Promote employee development, initiative and cooperation.

WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL (-A)

Experience in the position of production/shift manager/foreman;
Technical or engineering higher/university education;
At least 1-2 years of successful work experience in the field of production leading a team (in the position of shift manager, foreman or similar);
Experience in analyzing production processes and applying effective technological and organizational solutions;
Ability to adhere to the production plan, manage daily situations and quickly adapt to changes;
Excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office);
Good knowledge of the Lithuanian language (English is considered an advantage);
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with various team members;
Initiative, curiosity, desire to improve;
Experience in production planning, organization and control;
Change management skills, creativity, consistency and perseverance in achieving goals;
Experience in a LEAN environment, applying appropriate tools and methodologies.
