Our company specializes in supplying aircraft parts for civil aviation to customers worldwide. We are looking for a hands-on Head of Sales to lead an established sales team, take ownership of commercial results and support the company’s continued growth.
This is a leadership role for someone who combines strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach. You will set clear direction, stay close to day-to-day sales activity, develop your team, build strong customer relationships and actively drive new business.
You will have direct responsibility for the performance and results of the sales department, working closely with the team and management to achieve the company’s commercial objectives.
The role is based full-time at our Vilnius office.

Your role
- Lead the sales department and ensure clear priorities, focus and accountability across the team.
- Take ownership of sales results, revenue growth, margins and achievement of agreed commercial targets.
- Set individual and team sales targets and translate the company’s commercial strategy into clear, measurable actions.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline development, forecasts, conversion rates, margins and overall business activity.
- Identify performance gaps and take timely action to improve results.
- Coach and develop sales team members, provide constructive feedback and help colleagues reach their full potential.
- Work alongside the sales team on important opportunities, negotiations and strategically significant deals.
- Develop and implement new customer acquisition strategies, identifying potential customers and new markets worldwide.
- Actively participate in acquiring new customers, from prospect identification and initial approach through negotiations and successful onboarding.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
- Develop key accounts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities, market segments and potential partnerships.
- Monitor customer needs, market demand, competitor activity and pricing trends, and turn market insights into practical sales actions.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth cooperation between sales, purchasing, logistics, finance and other functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely CRM usage, sales reporting and forecasting.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports and provide management with clear insights, recommendations and action plans.
- Contribute to pricing, commercial policies and decisions that support sustainable profitability.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions and other relevant aviation events.
- Take responsibility for continuous improvement of sales processes, tools and ways of working.
- Carry out other duties and commercial initiatives related to the development and effective management of the sales department.
What we’re looking for
- At least five years of experience in international B2B sales or business development, including responsibility for leading a sales team.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering measurable commercial results.
- Experience in new customer acquisition and business development, with the ability to identify, approach and convert new customers.
- A practical leadership style built on trust, clear communication, accountability and performance.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable taking ownership and making decisions.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with sales performance data, forecasts and financial metrics.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on involvement in sales activities.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A degree in business, economics, aviation or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to travel when needed.
