JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Active search for new customers in the assigned market (cold calls, digital channels, exhibitions/visits).
  • Sales cycle management: clarification of needs, decision-making, proposals, negotiations, order confirmation.
  • Existing customer portfolio maintenance: regular contacts, visits, growth plans, upsell/cross-sell.
  • Pricing management, coordination of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with deadlines and credit discipline.
  • Sales forecasts, sales funnel management and reports.
  • Collaboration with purchasing, production and logistics teams on order fulfillment.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL (-A)

  • Over 2 years of successful B2B sales experience, an advantage - export experience in timber trading.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team, responsible approach to work.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and constructively, make proposals.
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Ability to travel.

YOU WILL STAND OUT IF YOU HAVE THESE COMPETENCES

  • Experience and knowledge in timber trading in export markets.
  • Knowledge of the specifics of the planed wood market – sales channels, customer segments, competitors.
  • Sales experience in a manufacturing company.
  • Experience in participating in tenders and winning complex contracts.
  • Knowledge of the German language, both spoken and written.
