Part-time Middle School Maths Teacher (IB MYP)

Vilnius International School is seeking an enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced middle school Maths Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025–2026 academic year. We are an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Middle Years Programme (MYP). The successful candidate will be dedicated to fostering a challenging and engaging learning environment, promoting inquiry-based learning, and cultivating globally-minded students through the IB MYP framework.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and deliver the MYP Mathematics curriculum for students in Grades 6 or grade 7..
  
• Design and implement varied assessment tasks and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  
• Actively participate in subject group, whole-school, and extracurricular activities, including staff meetings, professional development, and student advising.
  
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages risk-taking, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving in mathematics.
