Experienced Formwork Carpenter / Concrete Pourer

The duties include all general concreting work. We are looking for an experienced formwork carpenter concrete worker to join a strong team. The work is related to formwork, reinforcement and concreting on construction sites.

Main tasks:

Formwork installation and preparation
Working with wood and Doka
Reinforcement binding and finishing works
Concreting: walls, floors, ceilings
Additional work in projects
Working according to safety regulations
Teamwork

2+ years of experience in concreting or similar work
Experience with formwork, Doka systems
Drawing reading skills
Responsibility, diligence, physical endurance
Independence and ability to work in a team
General knowledge of English (knowledge of Icelandic is an advantage)
Carpentry diploma is an advantage

Work in an Icelandic company with an Icelandic contract. (Union)
Work clothes and tools
Work vehicle and fuel provided.
Accommodation, flight.
Permanent or shift schedule available: 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
5-6 working days per week, 8-10 hours per day. Shift schedule: flexible, but not less than 2 months of work.

Main location: Akureyri, Iceland. Occasional travel to other locations required.
