“Pazinimo medis” in Kaunas is looking for a Deputy for Education who would not only ensure high quality of education, but would also be able to mobilize and inspire the team of teachers, promote professional growth and contribute to the formation of the school’s educational direction. Main responsibilities:
- Ensure high quality of primary and secondary education;
- Coordinate the development and updating of lesson schedules;
- Coordinate and mobilize a team of teachers to achieve common educational goals;
- Coordinate the development of the school curriculum and the implementation of general educational programs, in cooperation with teachers and educational support specialists;
- Monitor student progress, analyze results and initiate necessary changes;
- Monitor the educational process, provide feedback to teachers and contribute to their professional growth;
- Cooperate with parents in solving educational issues;
- Together with the school head, develop the school's educational direction and implement strategic goals.
We hope you:
- You have a higher university education and a teacher qualification;
- You have at least 5 years of work experience in primary and (or) basic education;
- You are able to prepare educational documents and coordinate the preparation of the school's educational plan, the implementation of general educational programs and the adaptation of educational content to the needs of students;
- You speak and write in English at a level not lower than B2;
- You are able to use an electronic diary, learning platforms and student progress monitoring systems;
- You have experience in pedagogical leadership or coordinating a team of teachers;
- You are able to analyze student progress data and make data-based decisions;
- You know how to build professional relationships with teachers, students and parents;
- You are characterized by initiative, responsibility and the ability to implement changes.
