Money Laundering Prevention Specialist (9/12 month fixed-term project with possibility of extension)

Currently, the Financial Crime Investigations (FCI) team is looking for a Money Laundering Prevention Specialist for a fixed-term 9/12 month project with the possibility of extension.

We hope that you:

• You have accumulated 1-2 years of experience in the field of money laundering prevention (AML) and/or financial crime investigations and are well-versed in regulations and financial products in this field;
• You are interested in data analysis, able to perform detailed and complex tasks with Microsoft Excel or other data analysis programs;
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written);
• Attention to detail and a drive for quality results;
• Teamwork, initiative, adaptability and a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Open to innovation and ability to quickly learn new rules, processes and procedures.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting in-depth investigations of transactions and accounts identified by the transaction monitoring system;
• Analyzing transaction trends, customer behavior and other data to identify potential money laundering or other financial crimes;
• Documenting investigation results and collaborating with colleagues to make final decisions on suspicious activity;
• Collaborating with competent authorities to provide information on suspicious financial activity;
• Liaising with government agencies regarding their investigations.
