Nature of work
- Search for new suppliers and constant communication with existing suppliers;
- Evaluation of supplier offers to ensure the best purchase price and conditions;
- Coordination and supervision of the procurement process;
- Search for alternative sources of supply in case of component shortages/delays in delivery;
- Supervision of goods stocks, resolution of problematic situations and rapid response to emerging problems, preparation of reports necessary for the department, ensuring internal communication in the unit;
- Management of procurement documentation and contracts;
- Search for and implementation of new opportunities to reduce costs;
- Planning goods stocks taking into account production needs;
- Cooperation with technologists on changing production processes.
Employee requirements
Excellent English language skills
Experience and knowledge in the purchasing/supply chain of a manufacturing company
Knowledge of materials (wood, metal, glass, plastic, etc.)
Ability to work with Navision or other similar ERP software
Excellent computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office suite)
Knowledge of FSC
