Purchasing Engineer

Civinity Engineering, UAB – a company that has been successfully operating for more than 25 years, performing design and installation works of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and VN (water supply and sewage) systems in modern new construction buildings.
We are currently expanding our activities and are looking for a PURCHASE ENGINEER – a person who will not only ensure smooth procurement processes, but also contribute to the high-quality, economical and accurate implementation of projects.

Your work will be an important link between technical solutions, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams. You will be trusted by project managers and other team members.

• Based on technical project documentation, you will organize the procurement of engineering equipment and materials;
• You will conduct tenders, collect and evaluate proposals from suppliers and subcontractors;
• You will select the most suitable subcontractors, negotiate commercial conditions and contribute to the preparation of contracts;
• You will search for new long-term suppliers, assess their reliability and strengthen cooperation;
• You will create and administer a database of suppliers and subcontractors;
• You will conduct negotiations, compare proposals and help make economically sound decisions;
• You will administer procurement documentation and ensure a smooth procurement process;
• You will cooperate closely with project managers, engineers and other team members.

We are looking for a curious, responsible and result-oriented person, for whom engineering solutions are not just a job, but also an area in which you want to constantly improve.
We hope that:

• you have a higher or higher engineering education in the field of HVAC / VN - this would be a great advantage;
• if you do not have a specialized engineering education, you have work experience in the field of HVAC or VN product sales, supply or procurement;
• you work well with MS Office, especially Excel;
• you have good communication and negotiation skills;
• you have analytical and engineering thinking;
• you are proactive, persistent, responsible and result-oriented;
• you are able to work both independently and in a team.
