Do you first ask not “who to buy from?” but “do we really have to buy this way?” If you know how to refine the real need, find alternatives and turn them into measurable business value – we are on our way.

Our partner - the company UAB “Klaipėdos terminalo grupė” (KTG) - unites businesses of different activities. It buys everything - from IT equipment, cars and insurance to heavy and loading equipment, construction and investment projects: over the past five years, it has purchased more than 50 million euros in the procurement process. Currently, the procurement function is being strengthened and reorganized, so we are not looking for an administrator, but a partner who is able to create better working methods. Some decisions regarding the final model have not yet been made and will be made during the process; as the function grows, broader responsibilities will arise, and decisions regarding them will be made by assessing real results.

Where will you create value:

• You will manage procurement projects from the clarification of needs to the result: market analysis, supplier selection, negotiations, contractual terms, implementation control.
• You will search more widely than usual - not only in Lithuania, but also in the entire European market, where relative price differences are significant.
• You will ask the question "what if it's possible differently?" and compare not only the price, but also the entire life cycle costs. For example, not only compare forklift offers, but also calculate whether the electric version with a battery and charging equipment will cost significantly less in five years.
• Large investment purchases in the group are already managed in a targeted manner - we see the greatest untapped value in smaller and recurring purchases, their consolidation and real savings.
• You will contribute to a more modern function: processes, data quality, ERP, analytics and artificial intelligence tools.

What we are looking for:

• Analytical and commercial thinking – be able to compare scenarios and base your recommendation on numbers.
• Curiosity and ability to quickly understand new specifics, ask precise questions.
• Evidence that you know how to create value: negotiations, new suppliers, optimized costs, improved process or non-standard solution.
• Technological receptivity and use of artificial intelligence in practice – we want to hear specifically what tools you use and what you found with them. This is one of the highlights of the interview.
• Good English and a mature approach to change.
• Experience in procurement – a great advantage, but not the only way: we are also open to candidates from analytics, finance, project management, operations or other areas.
• An additional advantage – experience in international procurement and encounter with supply chain security or NIS2 requirements.

• Salary: €4,100 - €5,000/month. excluding taxes (~€2,500-3,000 in hand) + annual performance-based bonus. For an exceptionally strong candidate, we will discuss the remuneration limits individually.
