Ready to manage purchasing processes and contribute to changes in the furniture industry?
We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for the upholstered furniture production unit in Kaunas, who will be responsible for raw material purchases, price control, and supplier management. This is a position that has a direct impact on production stability, cost optimization, and supply chain efficiency.
The position operates in an international, matrix-type organization, will closely cooperate with the management based in Denmark, and will be included in the local management team in Lithuania.

Main responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of raw materials and services, ensuring cost efficiency and quality of supplier performance;
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers, administer the contract cycle, manage supplier performance indicators;
- Analyze prices, manage procurement budgets and cost reduction initiatives;
- Lead and develop the Procurement team;
- Represent the procurement function at the local management team and matrix organization level.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of managerial experience in procurement, including 2+ years of team management;
- Experience in a manufacturing company is a big advantage;
- Strong financial skills (budgeting, cost control, price analysis);
- Very good English (verbal and written - for communication with Danish colleagues and suppliers worldwide);
- Experience working with ERP (Navision, Axapta - an advantage);
- Good knowledge of Excel.
