We are looking for a Procurement Manager who will take responsibility for the efficiency of the entire procurement function in general contracting projects - from strategic decisions to team strengthening. Job Description:
- You will lead the procurement team (procurement project managers and procurement engineers) and ensure a clear division of labor;
- You will form and implement the procurement strategy (supplier selection, pricing, negotiation principles);
- You will oversee the most important tenders and participate in critical negotiations;
- You will build and strengthen long-term relationships with subcontractors and suppliers;
- You will analyze the effectiveness of procurement (prices, terms, risks) and initiate solutions;
- You will be the main partner for project managers on commercial issues.
What to expect:
- Higher education (in the field of construction would be a great advantage);
- Experience in construction sector procurement;
- Strong negotiation skills and "business thinking";
- Ability to make decisions in uncertain situations;
- Comfort working with numbers (Excel) and technical information (drawings - an advantage);
- Lithuanian and sufficient knowledge of English for working with suppliers.
