We are a Scandinavian capital company owned by "Lantmännen", a Swedish agricultural cooperative. For more than 29 years, we have been supplying raw materials and solutions to Lithuanian bakeries, confectionery, dairy industries and other food manufacturing companies: from small bakeries to international food industry giants. We are part of the "Leipurin" group, which operates not only in Lithuania, but also in Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden.
Nature of work
- Working in a team together with a supply specialist to ensure fair commercial conditions for UAB "Leipurin" and timely supply of raw materials to our external warehouses in Vilnius;
- Searching for new suppliers/raw materials based on requests from colleagues from Lithuania, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvia;
- Maintaining relationships and negotiating with existing and new suppliers to improve prices and supply conditions;
- Periodic contracting for the purchase of raw materials and services;
- Managing the raw material balance of assigned suppliers (price negotiations, order calculation and transport ordering);
- Continuous monitoring of raw material prices, comparative analysis and searching for alternative suppliers;
- Resolving emerging problems/current issues (pricing, transportation and acceptance of goods);
- Providing proposals for category management;
- Cooperation with the sales team;
- Participating in international exhibitions, visiting suppliers.
Employee requirements
- Successful, at least 2 years of work experience in food raw material procurement;
- Higher education;
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken);
- Perseverance, communication skills, negotiation skills, desire to improve;
- Good computer skills;
- Curiosity.
