Your main tasks will be:
- Lead the team of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) group, setting strategic priorities, ensuring effective organization of activities and achievement of team goals.
- Prepare and submit reports to the management, management bodies and supervisory authorities of the KREDA group.
- Ensure the effective functioning of the AML/CFT system, initiate and implement decisions to improve it.
- Prepare, review and update the AML/CFT policy, procedures and other internal documents, ensuring their compliance with the requirements of applicable legal acts.
- Make decisions on suspicious monetary operations or transactions and submit reports to the Financial Crimes Investigation Service (FCIS).
- Consult KREDA group members on AML/CFT, fraud prevention and implementation of financial sanctions.
- Coordinate cooperation with supervisory, law enforcement and other competent authorities in the field of AML/CFT.
- Strengthen the AML/CFT culture in the activities of the KREDA group, initiating and organizing training and developing employee knowledge in the field of AML/CFT.
You will need:
- Work experience and knowledge. We expect you to have at least 3 years of work experience in the position of MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer). Team management experience would be an advantage.
- Education. It is important for us that you have completed higher education (in law, economics, finance or related fields). We also expect you to have in-depth knowledge of the legal acts regulating the field of AML/CFT and are interested in global trends in this field.
- Personal qualities and other competencies: Ability to prepare documents and reports, submit conclusions and proposals; Knowledge of the AML/CFT laws of the Republic of Lithuania and other related legal acts; Impeccable reputation; Certificates in the field of AML/CFT (ICA, CAMS or other) would be an advantage.
