Nature of work
A teacher's assistant works alongside the teacher in and out of the classroom, helping to ensure the smooth learning and daily well-being of children.
Main responsibilities:
Assist the teacher during lessons: maintaining the pace of work, helping children understand tasks, redirecting attention when it is lacking.
Individually helping children who need more support (academic, social or emotional).
Helping to maintain clear rules and agreements in the classroom, responding to inappropriate behavior.
Contribute to creating a safe, respectful environment.
Helping to organize activities during breaks, after-school activities or events (as needed).
Collaborate with the teacher, other professionals and administration.

Willingness to learn, reflect and improve.
Knowledge of Lithuanian; basics of English - an advantage.
