"Aibė" is one of the largest Lithuanian-owned grocery retail chains, uniting independent traders throughout Lithuania. The category manager at "Aibė" has real influence on assortment, pricing and stock decisions, works close to the market and suppliers and contributes to the competitiveness and growth of the chain throughout Lithuania.
At work you will have to do:
- Form, analyze and manage the assortment and pricing strategy of assigned product categories;
- Be responsible for the growth of category turnover and profitability;
- Prepare and conduct negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best commercial conditions;
- Initiate and coordinate sales promotion campaigns in the retail network;
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and competitors' actions;
- Manage balances and write-offs control, ensuring effective product turnover;
- Work with existing and potential suppliers, search for new products, coordinate their introduction into the network, conclude contracts;
- Closely cooperate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments of the company;
- Participate and contribute to other commercial projects.
We hope that:
- Have a higher university education (preferably in economics, business management or commerce);
- Knowledge of retail processes and their operating principles;
- Have experience in brand management and assortment development;
- You are a strong negotiator, organized, communicative and able to work in a team;
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work with data;
- Have good English language skills;
- Have good planning skills, independence and a clear orientation towards results.
We will consider it an advantage:
- Work experience in the grocery sector.
