In this position you will have:
- Create and maintain a system for managing equipment settings (parameters), ensuring standardization, documentation and repeatability between shifts/operators
- Prepare technological documentation and work instructions not only for existing equipment, but also when implementing new technologies, equipment and automation solutions;
- Eliminate the causes of losses (defects, downtime) occurring during production and independently initiate preventive measures, increasing production efficiency (OEE)
- Consult production employees on technological issues and involve them in continuous improvement
- Train teams in problem-solving methods and promote their use
- Independently initiate and implement improvements to standards and work methods
- Analyze production data, prepare regular production activity reports and independently initiate actions to solve identified problems
- Resolve daily technical issues related to the production process, in cooperation with colleagues from the quality, production and technical maintenance departments
- Monitor key production efficiency indicators (OEE, defect %, downtime) and be responsible for their improvement
Requirements
- Technical or engineering education
- Work experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing company – at least 2 years
- Knowledge of LEAN methods (5 Whys, Ishikawa, Kaizen, 5S) – a big advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel is required (incl. Power Query/Power Pivot for larger data sets); knowledge of SQL, Power BI or similar BI tools – a big advantage
- Good level of English (B2+), allowing you to read technical documentation and communicate with equipment suppliers
- Independence, responsibility, diligence, ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Analytical thinking, ability to find the causes of problems
- Very good communication skills and ability to clearly convey information
