ABOUT THE POSITION
The Product Development Manager ensures the smooth operation of existing products, new product development and implementation. This role focuses on standardizing processes, increasing efficiency, and aligning product development activities with the company's strategy. The manager works closely with other departments to solve production and process challenges, ensures compliance with quality standards, and contributes to the development of managers in the organization.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Lead product development teams and ensure their activities are aligned with company goals
- Develop and implement work procedures (SOPs) to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy
- Organize the development and introduction of new products to the market, ensuring their compliance with market needs and quality
- Identify and address process and production inefficiencies together with other departments
- Ensure that product development activities are aligned with the company's strategy
- Monitor team results (KPIs) and implement improvement actions
- Participate in strategic projects, contributing to the company's growth
- Continuously improve processes, reduce errors and increase work quality
- Develop team members and future leaders
- Prepare reports and present results to management
- Perform other duties related to the position.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work with multiple teams (production, sales, management)
- Project management experience
- KPI analysis and performance improvement experience
- Ability to quickly solve operational challenges
- Leadership and team building skills
- Clear communication with management and stakeholders
- Strong English language skills (C1 level or higher)
- Ability to work with multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- At least 3 years of management experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Higher education (engineering, business or similar field) – an advantage
- Experience in product development activities, aligning it with company goals
- Project management experience
- Experience in process improvement and work standardization
- Experience in implementing new products or solutions
- Experience in working with 2D and 3D CAD modeling programs
- Experience in working with project planning systems (TOC methodology an advantage)
- Experience in working with aluminum or polymer window/facade systems – an advantage
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to work remotely if needed
- Work requires strategic thinking, problem solving and effective communication
- Workplace can be adapted for people with disabilities if needed
