Product Group Manager

We are looking for a colleague who would join our company's growth - we invite you to become a Product Group Manager.
A Product Group Manager is a person who fully manages the wood product groups assigned to him in Lithuania and Poland. His responsibility is to ensure a stable supply of these products, competitive pricing, and also to ensure that product rotation, balances and flows are managed professionally and predictably. This position is essential for the supply chain, commercial results and the work of the sales team in both markets.
Daily work will include the following main tasks:

• Constant work with existing suppliers: you need to maintain contact, check their offers, analyze prices, terms, supply reliability and initiate improvements if processes are stuck somewhere. It is equally important to constantly look for new suppliers - both in Lithuania and abroad.
• Negotiations are one of the main functions of this position: it is the manager who negotiates prices, supply volumes, terms and all other conditions that directly determine the profitability and competitiveness of the company.
• A large part of the work consists of inventory planning and management of product flows.
• An important part of the work is the formation of a sales strategy.
• Analytics, working with numbers and the ability to make decisions based on data are necessary in this position every day.

To be successful in this position, you need:

• at least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, product group management or working with construction materials.
• Good negotiation skills, the ability to understand supply chain processes, analytical thinking and the ability to make independent decisions are very important.
• English is a must, and Polish is a significant advantage.
• Strong skills in working with Excel are required.
• The most important personal qualities for this position are firmness, the ability to adhere to clear decisions, structure, organization, a high level of responsibility and the ability to support several processes simultaneously.
