The company "Baumit" is looking for someone who would grow products - a strong, curious and commercially minded product manager who has their own position, knows how to justify it with numbers and arguments, and wants to have a real impact on the company's results in Lithuania.
What will you do? You will be responsible for product groups as a separate business:
- know their sales, turnover, tones, margins and results compared to budget;
- analyze what is growing, what is falling and, most importantly, why;
- monitor competitors, their products, prices and positioning;
- provide reasoned proposals for pricing and product positioning in the market;
- together with the sales team, look for ways to sell more;
- visit customers, “dealers”, craftsmen and facilities – you need to know the market not only from Excel;
- be the owner of the introduction of new products to the market;
- take products that are “not moving”, find out the reasons and initiate actions;
- work together with marketing and the central Baumit product team in Austria;
- participate in forming the assortment, sales forecasts and product strategy;
- organize and conduct product training for partners and customers.
What are we looking for?
Technical or engineering education is essential. Experience in construction, building materials or a similar market would be a great advantage, but at Baumit, how a person thinks and acts is just as important.

- you are able to analyze and understand construction units;
- you speak English perfectly;
- you are independent and do not wait for someone to tell you what to do;
- you have your own opinion and are not afraid to defend it with arguments;
- you are able to talk to both the sales team and customers or builders;
- after noticing a problem, you come up with a proposal on how to solve it;
- you know how to move people and projects;
- you are not afraid of responsibility and accountability for the result.
Baumit is looking for a colleague who would sometimes say “I disagree”, ask “why are we doing this?” and suggest a better option. A person who, having seen that a product is not selling, would not wait half a year for the manager to ask about it.
