Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical interfaces of assigned Rail Baltica activities, ensuring their compliance with the implementation schedule, stages and technical requirements
  • Identify technical discrepancies and risks, assess their impact on the project and propose appropriate risk management measures
  • Analyze technical solutions and propose alternatives, describing their advantages, disadvantages, impact on budget, deadlines and other program projects, and propose the most optimal solutions
  • Prepare technical and visual material for presentations related to program solutions, changes or project progress
  • Organize and moderate technical meetings, participate in resolving interdisciplinary issues and coordinating technical solutions
  • Contribute to the coordination of project stage transfers (from design to construction, from construction to operation, from infrastructure to signaling, electrification or control systems)
  • Assess the quality and compliance of technical documentation, ensuring that risks transferred to service providers and contractors are properly described and included in the design documents
  • Contribute to the development of technical standards, procedures and good practices, based on the requirements of Rail Baltica and EU high-speed railways

What do we expect?

  • Higher education in engineering, construction, railways, roads, infrastructure or a related field
  • Work experience in infrastructure projects (railway, road or bridge projects would be an advantage)
  • Participation in the implementation and control of EU-funded infrastructure projects (would be an advantage)
  • Understanding of railway infrastructure systems and interfaces between subsystems (infrastructure, signalling, electrification) (would be an advantage)
  • Ability to analyse technical solutions and submit reasoned proposals
  • Good skills in preparing technical documents, reports and presentations
  • Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
  • English language skills in writing and speaking (at least B1 level)
  • Understanding of project management, design, construction and public procurement processes
  • The ability to systematize, process and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Experience working with FIDIC, NEC or similar contractual systems (would be an advantage)
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes (would be an advantage)

Monthly salary: €3,090.00 - €4,640.00 (excluding taxes). The specific salary offered is based on work experience and competencies.
