Nature of work

  • Initiate, plan and implement projects that contribute to the implementation of sustainable mobility goals in the city of Klaipėda and the region.
  • Analyze the possibilities of national and international funds, programs and other funding sources, identify project funding directions relevant to the organization and submit proposals for their implementation.
  • Prepare international and national project applications, formulate project ideas, plan activities, budgets and results and coordinate the application process.
  • Coordinate the entire project implementation cycle - from planning and involving partners to implementing activities, monitoring results and preparing reports.
  • Develop educational initiatives and joint projects with schools, kindergartens, universities, communities and other organizations, promoting sustainable mobility and safe travel habits.
  • Represent the institution in cooperation with educational institutions, municipal representatives, communities, project partners and other interested parties.
  • To prepare and implement public information and publicity activities, coordinate public campaigns, present project results and promote sustainable mobility initiatives.
  • To strengthen ties between the institution, the municipality, the education sector and the city communities.

Employee requirements

  • You have a higher university education in communication, public administration, social sciences or another related field.
  • You have at least 1 year of work experience in preparing, coordinating or managing projects. Experience in implementing projects financed by international programs, European Union funds, Interreg, Erasmus+ or national funds would be an advantage.
  • You have experience in organizing events, public campaigns, educational or community projects.
  • You have excellent command of Lithuanian and English at least at B2 level, you are able to prepare documents and communicate with international partners.
  • You are able to independently plan and coordinate activities, manage several processes simultaneously and ensure the implementation of the intended results.
  • You have excellent cooperation, communication and presentation skills, you are able to mobilize people for common goals and create long-term partnerships.
  • You are an initiative, creative, responsible and solution-seeking person.
  • You are interested in topics such as sustainable mobility, ecology, sustainable urban development, and public education.
