Science Island, together with its partners, will implement the international project Science Comes to Town in 2027 – a year-long cycle of science popularization events. With the help of various organizations, the aim is to organize a variety of events throughout Kaunas city that would bring science closer to the public, stimulate curiosity, involve participants of all ages, and strengthen the culture of science.
Currently, intensive planning and preparation work for the events is underway, so we are looking to strengthen the team – we invite a Project Coordinator to join us, who would contribute to the successful implementation of the project.

Main responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing and coordinating the activities of the Science Comes to Town project.
- Communication and cooperation with project partners in Lithuania and abroad.
- Project administration, preparation and maintenance of documentation.
- Preparation of project reports and provision of information to funding institutions.
- Organization of meetings, events and other project activities.
- Monitoring of project implementation deadlines, activities and results.
- Other organizational and administrative work related to the implementation of the project.
We hope you:
- You have a higher university education.
- You have gained experience working with projects funded by the European Union.
- Experience in administering Horizon Europe or other Horizon program projects is an advantage.
- You have excellent oral and written English (communication with international partners and preparation of documents in English) (at least B2 level).
- You are able to independently plan work, effectively manage time and work on several tasks at the same time.
- You are responsible, diligent, have excellent communication and organizational skills.
