- You will contribute to the implementation of one of the strategically most important data transformation projects of the Bank of Lithuania – DataCore.
- You will lead significant changes by modernizing data collection, processing, management and use processes.
- You will develop a common data platform and data products, increasing the efficiency of data use throughout the organization.
- You will promote process automation, reducing manual work and implementing advanced data management solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- planning, coordinating and successful implementation of the strategic DataCore project;
- managing and prioritizing project scope, deadlines, budget, risks, dependencies and changes;
- coordinating the activities of internal teams of the Bank of Lithuania, external partners and suppliers, ensuring smooth cooperation between operations, data governance and IT areas;
- coordinating the implementation of data platforms, data products, integrations and related technological solutions;
- managing project links and dependencies with other projects and technological initiatives of the Bank of Lithuania;
- monitoring project progress, identifying obstacles and organizing their resolution;
- presenting the project status, risks and necessary solutions to the project management bodies and the management of the Bank of Lithuania.
What we expect from you:
- higher university education in computer science, mathematics, statistics, management, economics, finance or a related field;
- at least 4 years of experience in managing the development, implementation of information systems or complex IT projects;
- experience in coordinating teams from different fields, external suppliers and other stakeholders;
- ability to manage project scope, deadlines, budget, risks, dependencies and changes;
- excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, Agile principles and Scrum method and ability to apply them in practice;
- excellent skills in working with Jira, Confluence and MS Office programs;
- ability to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions and combine business needs with technological capabilities;
- strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
- ability to communicate fluently, both orally and in writing, in Lithuanian and English;
- independence, initiative and result-oriented.
We will consider the following as advantages:
- experience in managing data platform, data engineering, analytics or data governance projects;
- experience in implementing cloud transformation, migration or modernization projects of legacy information systems;
- knowledge of data platforms, integrations, data products, BI and data governance principles;
- experience in coordinating large teams of external suppliers;
- internationally recognized project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA or equivalent).
- experience in public procurement processes.
We offer you:
- salary depending on your competencies and experience. DU range: 4128 - 6192 Eur (gross);
- fixed-term project employment contract until 31 December 2027 (term is planned to be extended);
- hybrid work model 3 + 2: 3 working days in the office and 2 working days remotely;
- workplace in Vilnius, Žalgirio g. 90;
- additional benefits package: health insurance, 6 additional days off per year and budget for professional development.
