We are one of the largest tower and mobile crane rental companies in Lithuania - on the market for more than 40 years. Our cranes work in the largest construction sites in the country. We are looking for someone who would technically prepare each site - from the first drawing for the proposal to the crane installation on the site.
Your responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the technical preparation of the facilities: from preparing tower crane construction projects to cooperating with the installation team on site. This is not just work at the computer - you will spend some time at the base and at construction sites.
Main duties:
- Prepare tower crane construction projects in AutoCAD for commercial offers and installation;
- Select a technical solution - crane type, height and boom, taking into account the needs of the facility;
- Evaluate the site and select a location for the mobile crane for installation work;
- Transfer the project to the installation team and accept the site for installation and dismantling work;
- Check warehouse stocks (sections, fasteners and other parts) and timely signal about deficiencies;
- Create a preliminary installation schedule, which would be further coordinated by the operations manager.
Qualification requirements:
- Engineering education (construction, mechanics or similar field);
- Good AutoCAD skills;
- Ability to read construction drawings, site plans and geological survey data;
- Understanding of foundations and foundations: pile types and load transfer to the soil, reinforced concrete monolithic foundations, soil bearing capacity, vertical and moment loads, distances to excavations, slopes and underground communications;
- Understanding of the construction process: stages from earthworks to finishing, site organization, work sequencing and timing planning;
- Practical thinking and ability to assess the feasibility of solutions on a real site;
- Independence and organization - several objects will be managed at the same time;
- Category B driver's license.
Advantages (optional):
- Work experience in a construction company, design office or in the field of technical maintenance of a building;
- Experience in preparing construction site organization projects (SOP);
- We will teach the specifics of cranes and internal processes - the most important thing is to have a good understanding of construction and a desire to grow in this field.
