Project and Process Team Leader | Marketplace

Marketplace is growing rapidly – and so is the number of systems, processes and solutions that need to be aligned between business and IT. That’s why we’re looking for someone to lead the Process and Product team – the team that sits between business and technology.

This team ensures that existing Marketplace systems are working every day, and that urgent needs and new ideas from the business are transformed into real, well-thought-out functionalities and processes. You will be the person who turns “we need it to work like this” into a clear requirement, priority and implemented solution.

This is not a position where you sit high above the details. You will be expected to set priorities, delve into a specific process or system logic, and formulate a task when needed.

Team and Leadership:

• Lead the process/project team: set priorities, develop competencies, ensure quality of work;
• Create a work order that allows the team to manage both daily operational flow and larger projects.

Existing systems and functionalities:

• Ensure that existing Marketplace system functionalities operate stably and meet the needs of the business and

Marketplace sellers;

• Manage the process of resolving system errors and failures together with IT;
• Constantly look for improvement opportunities - where the process is manual, expensive or slow.

New processes and products:

• Collect and coordinate needs with Marketplace teams and other company departments (Legal, Finance, Logistics, Data, Customer Service);
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, process descriptions and priorities;
• Lead the implementation of solutions through the IT department: from ideation and specification to testing, launch and measurement of results;
• Ensure that the launched solutions are actually adopted by the teams - with documentation, training and clear accountability.

Coordination:

• Be the main contact point for the Marketplace for the IT department and vice versa.
• Align competing needs of different departments into one common priority.
• Communicate statuses, risks and decisions to management.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in process, project or product management, of which at least 1-2 years

in team management (or clearly leading project teams).

• Experience working with technical products or systems – not necessarily as an engineer, but understanding how systems, integrations and data flows work.
• Ability to refine requirements: from a vague need to make a specific, implementable task description.
• Experience working together with IT/development teams.
• Structured, analytical thinking and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills – you will have to work with very different people from operations to C-level.
• Hands-on approach: you are not afraid to open the system, data, do analysis or write a process yourself;
• Excellent Lithuanian and English (you will work with teams in LT, LV, EE and FI).

Higher IT education is not necessary - a real understanding of technologies and processes is much more important.

The offered salary will depend on the candidate's experience, competencies, and qualifications.
