Do you manage communications and coordinate events? The Physical and Technological Sciences Center (FTMC) invites you to join the Communications and Marketing team.
Main position responsibilities:
- Plan and implement project, innovation and other FTMC communication;
- Prepare and implement project communication plans, collaborate in creating content (media, social networks, presentations);
- Ensure clear and attractive communication of project results and innovations to different audiences;
- Collect information from project teams and prepare internal communication about the progress and achievements of projects;
- Monitor FTMC internal and external events, create a calendar and provide recommendations for participation;
- Coordinate communication at events and ensure the preparation of communication materials;
- Collaborate with project managers, partners and ensure compliance with communication and branding standards.
We hope that the candidates' "basket" of competencies includes:
- Higher or higher education (in communications, journalism, marketing, etc.);
- Experience in communications or marketing;
- Experience working with project (e.g. EU or innovation) communication is a great advantage;
- Experience in organizing or coordinating events;
- Strong content creation and communication skills (for different channels and audiences);
- Good organizational and planning skills, ability to clearly convey complex information;
- Ability to manage large information flows;
- Good English language skills;
- Independence, responsibility, initiative.

The State Research Institute Physical and Technological Sciences Center (FTMC) is the largest research institution in Lithuania, carrying out unique research and technological development works in laser technologies, optoelectronics, nuclear physics, organic chemistry, bio and nanotechnology, electrochemical materials science, functional materials, electronics and in other fields of science. Not only high-level science is developed here, but also modern technologies useful for business and society are created.
FTMC was established in 2010. 2010 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania March 17 by resolution no. 302 after reorganizing the Institutes of Chemistry, Physics and Semiconductor Physics in Vilnius and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in 2011. December 21 by resolution no. 1500 after reorganizing and connecting the Textile Institute in Kaunas. The institution, which has successfully combined different branches of science, has become one of the leading scientific institutions in the country within a few years.
