Currently, Reynaers is inviting a Project Design Engineer to join the team
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS POSITION:
- You will draw technical drawings (AutoCAD, BricsCAD, EloCAD, etc.) - this will account for about 60% of your working time
- You will perform static calculations for aluminum structures - about 20% of your working time
- You will work with Reynaers' internal calculation program - about 10% of your working time
- You will participate in meetings with architects and clients, visit facilities, and maintain contact with parties involved in projects - about 10% of your working time (with the possibility of increasing this part by optimizing drawing libraries and AI tools)
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Required:
A great advantage:
- Experience working with CAD programs (AutoCAD, BricsCAD or similar)
- Education and/or work experience in civil engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of English (working level)
- Ability to work independently with technical drawings and calculations
A great advantage:
- Experience with aluminum facade, window or door systems
- Knowledge of moisture, wind loads, compensators and clearance calculations
- Work experience in the field of civil engineering
- Ability to calculate statics based on wind loads, understand thermal simulations and other engineering subtleties of windows and glass facades (condensation, drainage, decompression, etc.)
