Nature of work
Eltel Networks is one of the largest telecommunications infrastructure construction and engineering network companies in Lithuania. We implement energy and telecommunications projects that affect hundreds of thousands of residents every day. We are looking for a Project Estimator to join our team, who will ensure accurate project cost planning and contribute to the implementation of quality solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare and revise estimates for internal and external energy and telecommunications construction works, including planning of material requirements and drawing up a complete project budget structure.
- Analyze technical projects and drawings, assess the scope of work and technical solutions.
- Evaluate and compare commercial offers from subcontractors, perform economic and technical analysis and provide recommendations for the most effective solutions
- Calculate material quantities, participate in the project financial planning and pricing processes.
- Consult project managers on estimate preparation, alternative solutions and procurement issues.
- Participate in the procurement process and contribute to the implementation of effective and sustainable engineering solutions.
Requirements for the candidate
- Higher engineering or technical education (in the fields of construction, energy, engineering systems).
- Experience in preparing estimates for construction or engineering projects.
- Ability to work with Sistela or an analogous estimate preparation program.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand engineering processes.
- Analytical thinking, diligence and responsibility.
