The Lithuanian Wing Tsun KungFu Club is looking for someone who would like to contribute to the growing martial arts community, develop ideas, coordinate projects and help our activities reach even more people in Lithuania and abroad (Baltic countries, Scandinavia).

We are looking for an proactive, organized and creative project manager to join our team in Kaunas and help develop Wing Tsun KungFu, self-defense training and sword-handling school projects.

Work model: hybrid work possible
Workload: full or 0.5 time possible
The position is also suitable for a student - work can be combined with studies.

About us

The Lithuanian Wing Tsun KungFu Club is a martial arts organization that unites people who value movement, discipline, community and constant growth.

We develop Wing Tsun KungFu schools, self-defense courses, sword fighting schools, educational projects, events and community initiatives. Our goal is to popularize martial arts, strengthen an active community and expand our activities not only in Lithuania, but also in Latvia, Estonia and the Scandinavian countries.

What will you do?

There will be little routine in this position. One day you can coordinate the organization of an event, the next - plan social media content, contribute to a publishing project or generate ideas on how to further involve the community.

Main responsibilities:

• coordinate the organization's projects, communication and development;
• administer social networks and help create engaging content;
• maintain and update project websites;
• coordinate the preparation of community newspapers, newsletters and other publications;
• contribute to book and educational publication publishing projects;
• organize events, seminars, camps and community activities;
• help promote martial arts activities in Lithuania and foreign markets;
• contribute to the development of self-defense courses;
• coordinate the development of sword schools in Lithuania;
• communicate with partners, instructors and community members;
• develop new ideas that will help grow the organization's awareness, community and project impact.

It is important to us that you:

• have experience in project coordination, communication or marketing – or are very keen to grow in these areas;
• are able to independently plan work and meet deadlines;
• are interested in social networks, content creation, publicity or publishing;
• are creative, responsible, proactive and are not afraid to suggest ideas;
• communicate clearly and fluently in Lithuanian;
• speak English;
• are interested in martial arts, sports, education, healthy lifestyle or community building – this would be a great advantage.

This position may also be a great fit for a student who wants to gain real experience in the areas of project management, communication, event organization, publishing and community development.
