Project Manager

In the “Senjora” team, we make sure that older people feel happy, safe and community-oriented in their homes and surroundings every day. This year, we have successfully attracted funding for Local Action Groups (LAG) projects in different regions of Lithuania – some projects have already started, others are waiting to start.

We are looking for a Project Manager whose main mission is to implement real activities in practice. You will be the person who turns project application ideas into tangible services, events and benefits for our seniors and department teams. Your attention will be focused on the team, activities, quality and deadlines, and while working successfully and completing existing projects, you will be able to develop new project ideas and submit project proposals.

Main functions of the position:

– Coordination of activities in departments: Ensure that project activities are carried out on time, with high quality and according to the approved project schedule in different departments of the organization.

–Project budget management and control: Plan, monitor and manage the use of project funds according to approved estimates; ensure the purposefulness, reasonableness and compliance of expenses with funding rules.

–Accurate documentation of activities: Ensure that all activities, services and events carried out are recorded and documented in strict accordance with project implementation rules, guidelines and requirements (lists of participants, acts of services provided, photo/video recording, reports from departments, etc.).

–Collaboration with local teams: Work closely with department heads, social workers and coordinators, helping them to smoothly integrate project activities into daily work.

–Organization of events and initiatives: Supervise the implementation of training, education, community events or new service models.

–Maintaining partnership relations: Establishing and maintaining relations with local communities, LAG representatives, elders and partners in the regions.

–Monitoring of achieved indicators and quality: Recording of actually achieved results (number of participants, scope of services, feedback) and smooth transfer of information to the project administrator.

–Resolving challenges: Promptly resolving emerging disruptions, initiating corrections to the activity plan if necessary.

–Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in coordinating project activities, events or initiatives (experience with NGOs, social or EU/LAG projects is a great advantage).

–Organizational talent: Ability to independently plan your own and your team's time, manage several projects at the same time and plan steps forward.

–Communication skills: Excellent ability to find a common language with different people - from department employees to community leaders.

–Mobility: Category B driver's license and willingness to periodically visit the organization's departments in Lithuania.
